Syrphus ribesii ... female
Changed my mind.
I have taken another zoomed image look at this one and the band on hind femur is very doubtful and the second basal cell is completely covered with microtrichia. The markings on tergites can broadly overlap side edges in S. ribesii.
Sorry, I made a mistake.

.
No problem. Appreciate the correction; it's still a new species for me.

Syrphus rectus ... female.
The trochanters are black but the base of the mid and front femora are yellow. The bases of these femora are black in Epistrophe grossulariae. The antennae are totally coal black in grossulariae. The yellow markings on tergite 3 and 4 are turning forward before overlapping side margins of tergite but are straight overlapping in grossulariae. There is an orange line at middle of markings on tergites 3 and 4 which is never found in grossulariae. The yellow markings on tergite 2 overlap the side margins much more broadly in grossulariae. There is some dusting on the frons (zoomed image) before the black triangle reaches ocellar triangle but in grossulariae it is totally black.

Syrphus rectus
Cool; thanks! A new species for me.
