Karnack, Harrison County, Texas, USA
October 18, 2019
Size: 6mm
Two unknown polypore fungus conks were collected from a fallen branch the evening of 10/14. At the time there were four unknown larvae and one Metalectra species larva actively feeding on them, the latter being the intended reason for the collection. Four days later a fungus gnat emerged.
