Nola Leach, 1815
17 names were included as junior synonyms of Nola by Poole in 1989 (see Butterflies and Moths of the World). These were: Aradrapha, Argyrophyes, Celama, Chlamifera, Dimona, Epizeuctis, Lebena, Lira, Manoba, Minnagara, Poliothripa, Rhynchopalpus, Roeselia, Selca, Sorocostia, Stenola, Tribunta.
Numbers
Nola includes more than ten species in America north of Mexico. (1)

Range
Represented throughout most of US and southern Canada, plus Northwest Territories.
Food
Larvae are usually host-specific, feeding on particular trees (such as oak) or herbaceous plants (such as Fringed Loosestrife).
