Calling males fairly common on this sunny, 65-degree F day in clumps of bunchgrasses on a sparsely vegetated hillside (just south of the intersection of Campus Rd and Judd Falls Rd). It took me almost 2 hours to locate a male and female due to the constant din of Allonemobius allardi and fasciatus in the same area, plus the never-ending stream of cars going by.

Amazes me that I still run across new Orthopterans for this area despite intensive searching (and listening) in Tompkins County since 2015.
