Moved
Moved from Butterflies and Moths. Maybe. If you get these dissected, I can send the genitalia images to experts. I can't really do anything from these images.

Anything Helps
Thanks for all if the identifications Aaron. We aim to get these specimens to experts, and identifications to family are helpful for organizing specimens for taxonomists

Not sure whether this is identifiable
Do you think the abdomen has shrunk or swelled, or should proportions be about as in life.

Not Sure...
Thanks Aaron. I could better image the face, or ventral, or anything if you think it might help. Thanks for your help!

Tough to say
For specimens in this state, genitalia dissection is really the way to go. I have nowhere near enough experience with identification from genitalia to help from such images, but I could ask around for help. I noticed the really tiny size, though, which definitely narrows the possibilities considerably. I think it pretty much has to be Nepticulidae. Images of the base of the antennae would help confirm.
