It is Erisalis dimidiata ....
It is Erisalis dimidiata ...... female
Cell before humeral cross-vein dark brown; pterostigma distinct dark brown/black; tergite 2 with pale blue triangle at posterior middle.

Indeed it is, many thanks. The purple chrysanthemum is a virtual arthropod zoo and the amateur just can't keep up with all of the species.
