Dung Beetle with Flies -
Canthon floridanus
Coyote Ridge Nature Area, Ft. Collins, Larimer County, Colorado, USA
June 22, 2019
Obviously, the big guy is a dung beetle, but I'm curious if the flies are just immature house flies.

I'm not sure what
type of flies they are but they aren't house flies – much too small. All types of flies are full sized when they emerge from the pupal case (puparium). Technically, an immature house fly is a larva/maggot
I'm not sure one of the fly experts will see the photo when it's placed with the beetles. If the photo will stand a lot of cropping without degenerating into a bunch of pixels, you might crop it to just the back of the beetle and submit it right to the fly section of BugGuide.
Fingers crossed for an ID...
