Yep, that's a female Stichopogon trifasciatus. I found some last month just north of Patagonia, in Temporal Canyon where there was still water flowing. (By the way, we should meet up to talk about robber flies sometime; I'm just up the road in Tucson!)

for your expert help. It would be fun for me to see your Asilidae rearing projects. I'll be in El Paso, TX from late November to early January, but we could meet first months of 2020, if possible.
