ID?
I added this and one of your other examples to MPG but it's hard to believe they are the same species. This one is so much more heavily marked and the markings extend into the tuft over the head. I mention this in case there might be an error.

I'm puzzled too
The host plants and phenology were also different, but both specimens were examined by Terry Harrison. I'll revisit this one with him at some point.
