Sand Spider - Arctosa sanctaerosae

Sand Spider - Arctosa sanctaerosae
Panhandle, Gulf Side, St. Vincent Island, Florida, USA
March 22, 2008
On dunes close to beach, I found it by digging up a shallow burrow. We've read that the wolf spider, Arctosa sanctaerosae, has such habits, but we're not sure if this is what they look like. Does anyone have insight on these?

Nice
image and a new species here.
Your image shows the single dorsal tibial spine that distinguishes it from littoralis. A. littoralis, although widespread throughout FL and NA, appears to be rare in the FL panhandle as well.
