Size: ~1.9mm
So far I haven't been able to ID this small Cercyon. I note the pale lateral coloration stops well short of the humeral angles. Suggestions welcome :)

C. mendax seems to fit the key (from what I can tell). My key does mention "metasterum with femoral lines", but I'm not sure what they are talking about?

 
Well, the femoral line is a c
Well, the femoral line is a curved line on the metasternum starting from the coxae and finishing a little bite after the middle of the metasternum (in the centre forward the extern part). It have the same shape than the posterior femur, and when he is retracted, he fit on the line. This line is something just a little bite impressed and is, in this case, hard to see (specially when you are not sure what you are looking for).
