Phidippus regius - male

Phidippus regius - Male
Fellsmere, Indian River County, Florida, USA
October 17, 2019
A 6th instar male with white scales on the OQ, thoracic slope, and sides of abdomen (posterior of basal band) may potentially end up like this adult

if the markings are more developed following molt. There is also a chance the atypical markings will completely disappear, and the spider will look like an average male.
