Yes
Seemingly Tachypompilus sp. Such a Hornet-like color pattern, shared by some Polistes and Western Sphecius, let suppose true Hornets have once existed in North-America, long before (re?)introduction of Vespa crabro.

Yes and no:-)
Yes, this is a spider wasp, but no, not Tachypompilus. This is a species of Poecilopompilus, a mostly neotropical genus. Nice find!
