August 5, 2019: in a prairie remnant collected several flower heads of Rattlesnake Master, Eryngium yuccifolium, that showed browning flower sign of Coleotechnites eryngiella as well as surface silking as in this photo. Tried to divide up the flower heads into individual vials but some were woven to each other.
August 11, 2019: Coleotechnites eryngiella emerged
August 27, 2019: this tortricid emerged
