Green grasshopper with tan eyes - female

Green grasshopper with tan eyes - Female
Fayetteville, Benton County, Arkansas, USA
September 30, 2019
Size: approx. 1 1/2 inches
Was just sitting inside a building next to a window, not really moving or trying to get away from me when I approached it. Seemed like an odd place for a grasshopper to settle down considering there were no food resources for it there. Possibly ill or dying.

Frassed
This is a female Conocephalus fasciatus

Moved from Katydids.

Moved for expert attention
Looks like it might be one of the Meadow katydids, possibly Conocephalus fasciatus.

Thank you!
I've grown up hearing all "green, jumping bugs" called grasshoppers, so I'm glad to be more aware of the difference now when I see them. Thank you so much!
