Dirty, cut up moth - Lerema accius

Dirty, cut up moth - Lerema accius
Fayetteville , Washington County, Arkansas, USA
October 16, 2019
I was walking in a park in Fayetteville, Arkansas when I saw this moth. It was foraging on these green plants near a creek that ran through the middle of the park. It was about 68 degrees outside so it was still showing its normal sporadic behavior at the time.

Clouded Skipper
note that skipper butterflies have curved clubs at the antennal ends whereas moths are either rod shaped or exotic such as feathery. Adult butterflies do not forage on plants but nectar flowers or sap for nutrients. This skipper was using the plants as a platform to bask in the sun to warm up its body.
