Gorgeous spider.
Do you know if there’s any chance this may have the wrong location on it? (Were you in South America?) Or if it may have been introduced to the area where you took the photo via plants or something else shipped in from outside of North America?

 
I don't recognize ...
this as being a species known from your area. It resembles species in the genus Trachelopachys which are found in South America. I need more information about this find to know how it should be filed.
