found this in the soil of my tomato plant box...maybe a chrysilis of a tomato worm? it's alive for sure- it wiggles around if you move it

Yes, it looks like a tomato or a tobacco hornworm pupa
compare this one of mine:

I think all spp. of Manduca have similar pupae.
