Size: 2.2 mm
This specimen caught on live oak but most at the site were on Washingtonia palm. This is the only species in the Forcepeta Group in which the claspers of the male point inward. It is named in honor of L. J. Bottimer of Kerrville - a devoted collector and a specialist in Bruchidae. "This species has been found only at the Southermost Palm Grove in Cameron Co. (now Sabal Palm Sanctuary?). Also found in eastern Mexico
