brown fly with white face - Hydrophoria lancifer

Size: ~7 mm
I'm pretty sure this fly belongs in the Muscoidea Superfamily, maybe even among the root-maggot flies, since it looks similar to a root-maggot fly that was identified in the possibly Hydrophoria or Zaphne category.
