Guarding or actively laying
Is this posture the insect actively guarding its eggs or are they in the process of depositing these eggs? This is a really good photograph of an interesting behavior given how tiny the subject is.

I took this photo many hours, if not a day or two, after I collected the pine needle, and she never moved.
