Leafhopper nymph - Jikradia olitoria

Leafhopper nymph - Jikradia olitoria
Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA
May 16, 2005

Moved
Moved from Jikradia olitoria.

Coelidia olitoria
One more colour form of the common Coelidia of southeastern North America. Note the very narrow head between the eyes, and the way the abdomen is curled upwards.

Neat photo of an immature hop
Neat photo of an immature hopper. Looks like he could hop just as well as an adult.

Maybe you can keep an eye on this one, perhaps photographing other instars and the adult as well. Easier said than done, I know.
