If truly Paraclivina postica, then rec. n. PA.
This tentative new state record for Pennsylvania is added to the
Registry of Nearctic Geadephaga
. I don't see anything against P. postica. The punctate pronotum is an important clue. I assume you can rule out other genus members that come close to PA, namely, P. convexa and P. striatopunctata. Thank you Russell for alerting us.

Paraclivina postica
I was able to spend more time with this specimen today, running it through the Ciegler (2000), Downie and Arnett (1996) and LeConte (1879) keys, and comparing photos and specimens of other species. I am confident this is Paraclivina postica. Here are some additional notes.
1. It is clearly Paraclivina with the lateral bead of the pronotum rounded behind the posterior setigerous punctures (easy to see in photo). Also only two setigerous punctures in stria 3 (impossible to see in photos). It also lacks the setigerous spine on the mesotibia.
2. We can rule out P. convexa due to the presence of two lateral teeth on the protibia (one in P. convexa). See photo
3. We can rule out P. striatopunctuta due the profemur being thick with a very shallow situation. (deeply situate in P. striatopunctuta). See photo.
If there is more information needed or if you would like me to try and take other photos for clarification don't hesitate to ask.

Paraclivina postica rec. n. PA
Since you responded directly to my earlier comment above, I can not edit those words of hesitation. Your anatomic analysis is convincing. Thank you Russell for this fine scientific contribution.
