Hydrophilidae
Genus Berosus. Species ID not really possible from these shots.

Thanks Andrew! I wondered if this might be a Hydrophilid, the eyes through me for a loop. What shot is needed to get a species ID?

 
Berosus
This is a large and difficult genus. Examination of male genitalia may be necessary for species ID. For a key to Florida species, see:
