Size: 2.0-2.4 mm
2.0 mm (with head down) to tip of elytra; 2.4 mm to tip of pygidium. Captured on flowers of Lizard's tail (Saururus cernuus). Contrary to Liljeblad (1945), males of this species have a ridge count of 2-3-1 (subapical tibial ridge not counted by convention). Females have a count of 2-2-1. Compare this image with the female shown in photo #1761845. Males and females have very similar antennal structure with antennomeres 3 & 4 shorter than 1, 2 or 5. Antennomere 3 is slightly narrower than 4.
