Macrodactylus subspinosus

Macrodactylus subspinosus
L'Assomption, Lanaudière County, Quebec, Canada
July 10, 2007
Found on Lemon verbena (Aloysia triphylla) by a hot sunny late afternoon. Was attracted to the flowers, but not eating them... I find this specimen particular because its thorax is dark colored. Also, it was the first time I could observe the antenna divided in three sections.
