Date?
Is that date correct? I thought this might be a misidentified serricornis, which would seem to be a better fit in terms of both appearance and location, but serricornis flies mid-April to late June. Scotogrammoides flies mid-May to early July. The fascicle implies that flight time and range separates scotogrammoides from similar species.

The date is correct.

not sure
Per my email, I asked Don Lafontaine as I questioned the date and appearance. He didn't think it was scotogrammoides and asked Cliff who responded that, while he had not dissected it, it did match one he had dissected but he likewise questioned the date.
