As luck would have it (in a roundabout way), I ran out of host plant (Ninebark, Physocarpus opulifolius) for a few of the Yellow Birch leaffolder moth larvae from the next county over. Thinking back I seemed to recall seeing ONE plant nearby but could I find it again? I did and collected leaves. Lo! the leaf miners were here as well. (The plant is now marked for future reference.)
