Dineutus
There are several Dineutus species in N FL. Would need a much better pic of the venter, and the apices of the elytra, for species determination. See my 2010 guide to the water beetles of FL - and be sure to note the additions and corrections available on my web site.

Whirligigs
Your guide is amazing! And I will be sure to reference it next time I go to Fla.
