This is P. zonalis. The antennal club isn't emarginate beneath (so not edwardsii) and antennal segment 6 is >3 times longer than broad (so not marginalis) and its to dark to be coquilletti.

Ya, phone pictures aren't cutting it and my microscope cam doesn't get wide enough. I will find a solution and post more pictures of each.

If nothing else it would be great to crop the photos taken with the phone so they just show the wasp (or other insect for other photos) rather than the wasp plus all the background.

Some folks - mostly editors - can see the full size image so zoom in on the bug, but most of the site users can't and thus can't use your images effectively.

I had a similar thought, the clubbed antenna are what got me thinking sawfly. Any other ideas?
