Unknown caterpillar -
Coelodasys unicornis
Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA

Size: 3/8"
There where about a dozen of these on a rose bush. Little tipped spines didn't look to pleasant. Any info appreciated.

Looks to be one of the Prominents
in the Notodontidae. At 3/8 inch it is a very young caterpillar (early instar), so we don't know how much they change as the molt. The green on the thorax and the humps on A1 and A8 make us think Schizura, but we don't know the early instars well enough to hazard a species.
