Clogmia info page question

The Clogmia page says there's probably only one species in North America, C. albipunctata.

Is it that we're not sure whether the literature treats Clogmia in N. America as a single species or multiple species? Or is it merely that, although it may be treated as multiple species in the literature, we're not sure if that treatment is correct?

If my question isn't clear, let me know.

The page is here.

One recorded
As far as I know only one species has been recorded from most of the world.

Thanks, that helps.
Thanks, that helps.

Based on your comment, I think that, unless/until there's some revision of the genus, pretty much all of the 150+ Clogmia at genus level can and should be moved to C. albipunctata, subject only to possible concerns about generating too many notification emails.

I will hold off on taking that action in case anyone has concerns or other thoughts.
