Attracted to porch light. Cannot remember size, but probably 2 cm.

It could be fairchildi, but I did not see the flash pattern, so it may not be identifiable to species.

At this point, all the Photuris specimens found in the Maritime Provinces can be classed as Photuris fairchildi Barber. See:

Photuris sp.
This is a species in the genus Photuris. Several new species have been discovered based on differences in flash patterns. Morphologically, several species appear identical. Species ID from images alone is thus impossible.
