Checkered or Western White? - Pontia protodice - male Checkered White - Pontia protodice - male

Checkered
Because of the very light (nearly all white) outer margin of the left dorsal FW that can be seen in this picture, I'm leaning toward this being a male Checkered White, Pontia protodice. The Western White, to my knowledge, has a much more darkly marked dorsal FW outer margin, even in more lightly marked specimens. I'd wait for a second opinion though, just to be safe.
