Identification
Adult males and females rather robust; distinguished from Aptenopedes and Floritettix by the presence of extremely narrow, slender tegmina (barely noticeable) which reach to (female) or across (male) the tympanum. Head more blunt than in Aptenopedes, which has wider tegmina. Hind tibiae pinkish.
Range
Central FL; reported from Polk county but seemingly present along the Lake Wales Ridge into Highlands and Glades counties
