Size: about 4.2 mm
Found either Mar. 27 or Mar. 30, 2008 under pine bark. I sent ten or so to Don Chandler and he said this one is Corticeus praetermissus while the rest were Corticeus paral*lelus. The distinguishing characteristic is that the former has rounded anterolateral angles on the pronotum while the latter has acute anterolateral pronotal angles. This image was cropped out of the group image. It is the beetle in the lower left corner:
