The coloration of this common sawfly looks identical to examples of M. testaceus that I saw in the BugGuide pages, but I know how tricky these sawflies can be to ID. I hope the photos can determine what this common sawfly really is.

Yes, looks like it!
Macremphytus testaceus has the hind femur reddish basally and the tegula white, so this is a match.
