I suspect that this mirid is
Pycnoderes vanduzeei, based on
The Plant Bugs, or Miridae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera), of Cuba, but I haven't obtained a firm confirmation yet. I'll update this if the relevant expert weighs in. Specimen identified to genus by Susan Halbert (DPI). Any thoughts are welcome.
Adults and nymphs were found on
Commelina diffusa.
