Just a point-and-shoot Canon PowerShot (SD1000 Digital Elph). I hope to get a DSLR some day. Maybe something like the Sony Alpha?!?!
How is the light working? Where did you get it?

 
the pet store!
I got the bulb and the lamp assembly at a pet store -- the MV lamps are used in caring for reptiles to emulate sunshine. The bulb I got gives off both uva and uvb, and the assembly section has a clamp on the back. I set up a white sheet in front of it and clamp the light a few feet away, shining on the sheet.

I've seen several brands--zoo med, exo-tera, etc. I ended up spending a total of about 30$ for the two pieces and I went with exo-tera.
