Brown soft scales on eastern mistletoe - Coccus hesperidum - female

Brown soft scales on eastern mistletoe - Coccus hesperidum - Female
Durham Tech main campus, Durhamt, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
February 11, 2020
Size: 0.7-2 mm
These presumed soft scales (Coccidae) were found growing on the foliage of Eastern Mistletoe (Phoradendron leucarpum syn. Phoradendron serotinum) in a suburban environment. The largest ones were just about 2 mm, while the small ones are less than 1 mm.

I thought they were brown soft scales (Coccus hesperidum), changed my mind, and (updated 12/24/20) an expert on Facebook corrected me back to the original ID!
