Dogwood Thyatirid - Euthyatira pudens

Dogwood Thyatirid - Euthyatira pudens
Warren County, New York, USA
May 10, 2005
Size: Length ~2.2 cm
Found at the local convenience store where it was attracted by the all-night lights. I don't think we have any flowering dogwood in the area but I'm going to start looking for it. We do have other species of Cornus and also oaks. I notice Stephen Cresswell found this species in West Virginia a month earlier than I did in upstate New York.
