Size: 3/4 cm max?
I've found at least four or five species of ants on campus.

Today was my first time seeing myrmecophilic insects that live in ant nests.
Sadly the only ones I could photograph were springtails.
I found round-bodied, wingless crickets (5 cm long) living amongst these ants (another nest, though) but they escaped deep into the nest by the time I came back with my camera to the spot where I found them. (I foolishly tried digging for them but to no avail. Won't do that one again.)

to guide page. Jonas, when you get an ID from an expert you can move your images to that guide page. Let me know if you don't know how to do that.

Yes - Camponotus sp.
Maybe C. nearcticus.
