Native Salvia Bug - Closterocoris amoenus
Encino, Los Angeles County, California, USA

Size: 4 mm
I have several species of California-native sages in my front yard, but so far I've only found this bug on my one plant of Salvia clevelandii, which isn't native to anywhere within a couple hundred miles of here.

Taken in late afternoon, so the color balance is off
