Holcocranum saturejae
North East, Cecil County, Maryland, USA

Size: 3.5 mm
Found many of these in the fluff of Typha pappus. Chilacis typhae? Confirmation/correction appreciated.

I see what you mean
Ken -- I wasn't even tracking Holcocranum saturejae as a possibility. Then I looked at (the only) other Artheneid choices, and noticed that H. saturejae's thoracic pattern is a better match to my specimen. And then I saw your comment and give you a big shout out for the correction. Thx!
