aphids on spruce stem - Cinara

Size: 3 mm
These aphids are likely not the green spruce aphid (Elatobium abietinum); they are on the stem, not the needles. I've searched BG and the Web but no luck with aphids on spruce. I don't think they are adelgids, either.
