This fly is covered with pollen from a pussy willow, but I am hoping there is enough showing to help with ID.

Great picture! It is a Conopid, genus Myopa. They are parasites of bees.

I would say it is a Myopa vicaria, based on the clouded wing veins. Nice picture. It shows that maybe conopids are important pollinators!
