Cecidomyiinae, larvae on Lead Plant
Indiangrass Hills, Iowa County, Iowa, USA
August 7, 2019
August 5, 2019: collected woven cocoons on Lead plant, Amorpha canescens, in conjunction with what appeared to be a head capsule and frass of the host

August 7, 2019: gall fly larvae wandering on the confined plants, at least one was in the fruit (photo poor)
September 13, 2019: 1 dead gall fly (awful condition), and it looks too small to be associated with the larvae
