Noctuidae: Eupsilia fringata - Eupsilia fringata

Noctuidae: Eupsilia fringata - Eupsilia fringata
Spokane, Spokane County, Washington, USA
March 23, 2019
Size: Length ~ 1.7 cm
This specimen may be an example of Eupsilia fringata (9938). Based on a conversation with Lars Crabo (pers. comm., 24 March 2019), this specimen is more likely to be either E. devia (9939) or E. fringata (9938), both of which are uncommon in the PNW, but are much more likely encountered than E. morrisoni (9936). I am placing this specimen here until for now, a year after it was photographed (CDB, 25 March 2020).
