Thanks
for moving this forward, T. Let me note that the question mark after my ID was intended as a polite request for confirmation given a high degree of confidence. Body shape (female?), blue-green integument, hair pattern and coloration, venation, season, and geographical distribution all seem consistent with
A. cerasifolii
, from what I was able to gather form popular sources (Wilson and Messinger Carril) and images in the guide. Regarding venation, although the marginal cell seems pointy, the distal ends in this photo are rather indistinct, and the basal vein is not "strongly" curved. Please don't get the impression that I'm trying to assert any degree of expertise, but I did put a little time and effort into identifying this bee. Is there a conclusive character of
Halictidae
that I'm missing?

An oops on my part
I was moving around a few other photos and accidentally placed yours under Halictidae. Sorry about that! I'm not sure what bee it is (I'll leave that up to the experts), but I'd agree that it's not a halictid. To me at least, the characters you listed seem consistent with
A. cerasifolii
. Thanks for bringing that up!
