Cameraria? - Cameraria
Karnack, Harrison County, Texas, USA
October 28, 2019
Size: 5mm
Found feeding on Nuttall's Oak (Quercus texana). Made a mess of opening up the leaf blotch so went back a found another leaf from same branch with a similar blotch. As such this is a group rearing.

Great photos!
Not sure I'm reading the remarks correctly. Are these two different individuals?

Unknown
The second mine was more carefully opened up and the photographed larva placed in it. So presumably two larvae, one mine repaired to better than new. The larvae may disagree on that last point. Both leaves kept in a small container.

When I checked on them a few weeks ago I didn't find any pupae nor any remains. Leaves were leaf litter at this point so not as easy to check. Or perhaps I just was hasty.

Today one spent pupal case hanging out of other end of repaired mine and the photographed adult.
